Cowboy Robotics Club (Student Organization)

Cowboy Robotics is a new student-led engineering club that was created just last year! It is a space for students to meet likeminded students, to work on exciting hands-on projects, and to get excited about the work they’re doing.

Our goal for this year is to build a rover to compete in the University Rover Competition. Students working on this project are gaining invaluable experience in designing, building, and implementing systems onto a robot that will be tested in the field. We use industry-standard design programs such as SolidWorks and ROS to build and test our ideas. Beyond just building our skills, students in our club have an opportunity to meet and work with likeminded motivated students, building lasting connections.
