Over 46% of all University of Wyoming students experience some level of food insecurity, and weâre not ok with that. The UW Food Security Program exists to reduce food insecurity and to address the needs of our campus community in a manner that affirms dignity, but we canât do it alone.
We are asking for your help in sustaining our current food security programs at UW. This programming includes the UW Food Share Pantry, over 15 food share cabinets across campus, the âEvery Poke Nourishedâ Meal Swipe Sharing Program, a good food recovery program, and work with ACRES Student Farm. Your contribution will go directly toward providing greater basic needs and food access to those within our university community.
What impact does your donation have?
- $10 provides a whole day of food for one visitor at our UW Food Share Pantry or Cabinets.
- $120 a meal swipe to Washakie Dining Center to 10 students in need.
- $500 supplements a whole semester of food for one visitor at the Pantry or Cabinets.
Thank you for giving to the UW Food Security Program today to ensure that every Poke is nourished—any contribution helps and is greatly appreciated!
