Western Thunder Marching Band (WTMB)

Help the dedicated students of the Western Thunder Marching Band participate in the 2025 Rose Parade!

The University of Wyoming’s Western Thunder Marching Band has received a prestigious invitation to march in the 2025 Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day. Our UW band members will proudly represent the Brown and Gold as they march the renowned 5.5-mile parade route, captivating over 30 million onlookers and TV viewers. Additionally, the band will showcase their talents at the annual Band Fest hosted at Pasadena City College and explore the vibrant attractions of the Los Angeles area.

To facilitate this unforgettable experience for our hard-working Wyoming students, we are asking for your support in minimizing their out-of-pocket expenses. With a record 235 members, there will be significant costs in transporting the band to Pasadena. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us make this trip possible for our students. 

Your contribution to support the Western Thunder Marching Band can have the following impacts.

• $500 can fund a student’s airfare.
• $1,250 can cover half of the student’s trip expenses.
• $2,500 can fully sponsor a student’s trip.
