What matters? Why does it matter?
Maybe we havenāt thought much about these questions, but maybe we should. Being a citizen in todayās world means thinking about ourselves and our place in the ever-expanding world. Thinking hard and carefully about these things and more is a major focus of both philosophy and religious studies. Help us expand our abilities to take this sort of thinking further and share it with more people.
Your support of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies goes toward a number of projects and initiatives:
- Wyoming Stoic Camp,
- faculty travel to advanced pedagogical training or research,
- support for student study abroad to places like Athens or Thailand, and
- development of inreach programs to increase awareness of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the high school level.
Thank you for considering the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at UW for your support!
