Your support of the Jane Fenimore Cello Scholarship will literally mean the world to our cello program. It will support talented young cellists at the University of Wyoming.

The 2017–21 Fenimore Cello Scholarship recipient Thu Vo says, “Your donation will help us ensure talented cellists who apply to UW Music department will have a chance to live their dream as a musician, as it did for me, changing my life forever.”

The University of Wyoming Department of Music attracts talented cellists from Wyoming and around the world, and the Jane Fenimore Cello Scholarship serves as an integral aid in bringing these outstanding young musicians to UW.

During the past 12 years, cellists have come from nearby states and from as far afield as Bolivia, Armenia, China, Taiwan, Mexico, Spain, and Vietnam to study cello. With generous support from the Fenimore Cello Scholarship, cellists of the UW cello studio have gained national recognition as finalists in the MTNA Young Artists Solo Competition.
