The Buchanan Center Special Events program was launched in the fall of 2022 and is currently in its third season.
This program emerged from combining two programs, Cultural Events and UW Presents, which were discontinued during the pandemic. Now part of Fine Arts Outreach, the Buchanan Center and the Special Events program are dedicated to offering culturally enriching and unique experiences for both the Laramie community and University of Wyoming students. While the program is still in its early stages, we are thankful for the generous support from our sponsors and loyal patrons, which allows us to feature a variety of exciting acts and artists. Past performances have included Natasha Bedingfield, the Trinity Irish Dance Company, and Aida Cuevas.
Looking ahead, we are eager to continue this high-profile programming. Your generous contribution on Giving Day will play a vital role in attracting renowned commercial and performing artists to Laramie. Your support will also go toward acquiring essential technical equipment such as a sound board, risers, and an outdoor stage. It will also support large concerts for our community.
