As the worldās landscapes continue to change, we need a workforce that is excited about wildlife conservation, equipped with a diversity of skills, and has creative ideas to solve our wildlife conservation challenges.
The Wildlife Societyās vision is to inspire and empower the next generation of wildlife professionals through education, research, and conservation leadership. We do just that at University of Wyoming, where our student-led society works with undergraduate students interested in wildlife:
- providing networking opportunities,
- helping develop field, lab, office, and professional skills to get jobs,
- providing a forum to discuss issues and the profession,
- attending state and national conferences,
- providing service to our community such as trash clean-up,
- helping local researchers collect data, and
- having fun!
Please consider supporting our society. Your contributions will help fund travel, food, bringing in experts, and much more, which creates opportunities for our students. Thank you!
