Meat Judging Team

You can contribute to the UW Meat Judging tradition and enhance our student’s experience by donating today! We ask for your help in achieving our goal to secure 110 donors in this year’s Power of Ten Giving Day.

Any donation, big or small, helps the program support student accommodations and travel expenses for eight national meat judging contests in 2025. The cost to travel to each contest ranges from $3,000 to $5,000, and so your support means a lot to our hard-working students.

Why can you be proud to support UW Meat Judging? UW Meat Judging students spend many hours learning and practicing their skills for evaluating beef, lamb, and pork. In doing so, they are prepared to represent UW on a national stage going head-to-head with more than 120 students from other universities.

Competition energizes their journey, but personal growth defines their experience. UW meat judgers are asked to be wholly committed to their sport, and this commitment strengthens them as high-achieving students, excellent professionals, and admiral characters.
