Calling all Cowgirl fans!! Please consider making a donation to the Cowgirl Volleyball program for 2023 Giving Day. Our student-athletes work extremely hard in the Wyoming community, classroom and on the court to represent the Brown and Gold. Your donation to the Volleyball program will support the following:
• Facility upgrades - We are discussing a few projects that will level up the Cowgirl Volleyball experience. Potential projects include a new “Taraflex” court playing surface and locker room renovations (showers, bathrooms, etc.).
• Additional Training - Sending at least one Cowgirl Volleyball player to Pula, Croatia (summer 2024) as a part of the Mountain West Conference All-Star Team at the Global Challenge Tournament. Kasia Partyka represented the Cowgirls in 2023 and the team won the championship!
• Community Outreach/Preseason Retreat – Each year, the Cowgirl Volleyball Program competes in an “outreach event” somewhere in Wyoming. In August of 2023, the team went to Cody, WY, to play and exhibition match against Montana State at Cody High School. The team hosted a free youth clinic prior to the match for participants of all ages. Part of the experience we provide our team is staying together in a rental property for team-bonding purposes. We did a guided tour of Yellowstone National Park as well, it was an incredible weekend for our ladies.
• Foreign Tour – In summer 2026 we would like to take our team on a foreign tour. The NCAA permits our team to train overseas and play matches against international opponents every four years. In June 2022, our team traveled to Greece and Croatia for 10 days as we played 4 matches.
Thank you so much for your support of WYO Volleyball! It is-because of your support that we're able to give our student-athletes a first-class experience. We have already had a historic start to the 2023 season and we are looking forward to continued success. We cannot wait to see you in the Uniwyo Sports Complex at a home match soon!
