Gifts to Multicultural Affairs Resource Centers contribute to...
The Multicultural Affairs Resource Centers host programming and events and serve as a meeting space for student organizations. The centers are a critical resource for students and community, and maintaining these vital spaces is integral to the success of our office.
- The Poke Pride Center, which was founded in the fall of 2000, serves as a resource for the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Wyoming, as well as for members of the Laramie and Wyoming community. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive place for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, ace, two-spirit, and queer individuals and their families and friends. The center welcomes all regardless of sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, age, or gender.
- The Multicultural Resource Center is a place for community, personal and intellectual exploration, student leadership and advocacy, and intercultural awareness. We encourage engagement through a positive environment that offers cultural programming; university, local, and state resources; and support to empower our members' personal growth.
Thank you for supporting the mission of UW Multicultural Affairs and our Resource Centers!
