The Biodiversity Institute promotes conservation by supporting world-class research and public engagement in science. Please consider supporting us on UW Giving Day.
With your support, we are able:
- to engage the public in the scientific process through community science and outreach,
- to enhance cutting-edge graduate student research at the University of Wyoming,
- to create novel approaches to K–12 biodiversity education, and
- to support publications to inform diverse audiences about the excitement of scientific discovery.
The mission of the Biodiversity Institute is to foster the understanding, appreciation and conservation of biological diversity through innovative research, education, and outreach, and by engaging a broad audience in the scientific process.
The Biodiversity Institute works with scientists, resource managers, educators, and the public to further the understanding and conservation of biodiversity. We seek to provide a unique service to Wyoming and beyond by facilitating collaborative research projects, disseminating research, distributing grants, and providing educational, outreach, and citizen science programs for scientists, students, and the public.
Thank you for considering joining us to help save the world!
