Please consider supporting UW Arabic and Middle East Studies Program!
We are planning to send students to participate in experiential learning activities both here in the U.S. and abroad in the Middle East. Many students are unable to participate because they cannot pay for the costs of the experience, over and above what scholarships do not cover.
There are two big opportunities that students can participate in every year. The first is the Model Arab League conference in March in Washington, D.C., where students learn to work collaboratively and strengthen skills in diplomacy. The second is a trip to the Middle East in partnership with the Center for International Experiential Learning to study the Israel/Palestine Conflict up close through engagement with various actors on both sides of the conflict. These opportunities help Wyoming students experience and influence matters of international importance while building crucial skills that are applicable across many different kinds of career paths.
