About

According to a February, 2024 survey, 1 in 3 (33%) of UW-Parkside student respondents face food insecurity. The university is working to address this issue through its Sharing Shelves (grab and go non-perishable free food items), community garden, and bi-annual Pop-up Food Pantries (in partnership with the Shalom Center). These initiatives help students during challenging times when they have limited resources for food. Your support makes it possible to purchase food for the Sharing Shelves as well as promote food drives and food-giveaway events. Let’s make the difference in our Ranger community!
