Gifts to Sustainability contribute to...
The University of Wisconsin—Oshkosh has built a solid reputation as a leader in sustainability over the last two decades. Since Titans Day of Giving 2024, we've moved into year three of our NSF-funded interdisciplinary harmful algal blooms research project, working to protect our local waters. This project employs 10-15 students each summer, giving them amazing research experience.
We've won our second Focus on Energy Higher Education Kit Challenge, offering free home energy savings kits to hundreds of UWO community members.
The Sustainability team worked hard and rallied to save the university over $750,000 in utility costs this year! With a stellar year behind us, we look forward to the next year with a renewed sense of hope and vision for a more just, resilient, and sustainable future, for all.
Please consider supporting the Sustainability Program Fund to continue helping UWO and our students strive for sustainability achievements.
