Scholarships make it possible for many students to afford college. They also offer students the emotional endorsement of someone believing in them and their potential.
Nearly half of UW Oshkosh undergraduate students are the first in their families to attend college. First generation students typically have fewer financial resources and may lack guidance or emotional support from their family regarding their pursuit of higher education.
Consider making a gift to the Scholarship Support Fund, which bolsters recruitment and retention efforts, or the Titan Emergency Scholarship, which supports students at risk of withdrawing from college due to financial reasons.
