Support Music Industry on Titans Day of Giving
The UW Oshkosh music industry program educates students to be forward-thinking content creators within the modern landscape of the multibillion-dollar global music and sound industry. This includes digital audio and video, live sound production, television and online broadcast, sports production, theater production, music business, arts administration and more.
Program graduates have established careers in recording, film, video, multimedia and marketing-related industries across the country. Our objective is to continue our track record of preparing music industry students for successful careers. To do that, we need to provide state-of-the-art facilities and technology that reflect the modern industry.
As a part of the 2024 Titans Day of Giving, our goal is to receive gifts from 30 donors to help grow our program long into the future.
To help us reach our goals, we’ve created the Music Industry Tech Modernization Project Fund. Contributions to this fund will honor our program founder, Wally Messner, and provide resources to make the music industry program even stronger through:
• substantial upgrades and modernization to existing spaces (expanded wall space, acoustic updates for recording spaces, updated furniture and cutting-edge studio equipment)
• training opportunities for music faculty/staff on new technology and equipment purchases
• scholarships for music industry students
A gift to this project means that you will be helping to enhance program facilities and technology to mirror the high standards of the industry today. Your investment will not only foster student growth and retention but also establish a lasting legacy of excellence within the program.
Many thanks to the more than 350 donors who have contributed to our Titans Day of Giving 2024 campaign. We're currently at 78% of our $100,000 goal.
We've extended the campaign through this weekend so there's still time to donate, create matches and challenges and share on social media.
