Support Model United Nations During Titans Day of Giving

Model United Nations offers students the opportunity to participate in transformative diplomatic simulations at little or no cost to the student. UW Oshkosh Model UN is one of the strongest teams in the entire country, and has earned the highest distinction at regional, national, and international conferences. It is the only academic team on our campus and offers membership to a select group of high-achieving students each year. We are proud of the fact that our students come from many different majors.

Model UN has existed in some form at UW Oshkosh since 1965 and boasts a large and active network of alumni who are still interested and supportive of the current team.

Contributions are needed for funding our team's expenses while at conferences. It is expensive for students to eat in places like New York City or Chicago for the entire week, so donations are essential in ensuring that they have the energy to compete at the highest level.

Our Chancellor has given us the opportunity to travel internationally every other year. In 2023 we had an amazing experience at our first-ever international conference in Erfurt, Germany, earning a Distinguished Delegation Award. In 2025, we will travel to Banff National Park in Canada for our second international competition.

The costs for this trip, exclusive of transportation expenses, will be about $1,000 per student. We would love to take 8-10 students on this trip if possible. International competition is invaluable because it introduces students to people from literally all over the world.

Model UN students make friends wherever they go, and those friendships are key to building their wider networks. There is no other program quite like it at the entire University.
