Support UW Oshkosh Cross Country on Titans Day of Giving
UW Oshkosh Cross Country athletes are hardworking, fun, determined, and energetic young men and women who deeply care about each other and the community around them. They are motivated to represent themselves well in competition and beyond, continuing to make a good name for UWO. The runners have an unmatched bond with one another, a positive and focused team culture, and want to work together as a family to accomplish their goals.
The 2023 men’s and women’s teams were both named All Academic by the USTFCCCA, with the women's team cumulative GPA of 3.41 and the men's cumulative GPA of 3.32. Six athletes had a perfect 4.0 GPA during the season. These athletes are competitive on the course AND in the classroom.
Donations to the Cross Country program will be used to help fund our travel to an inter-regional meet out of state, as well as lodging expenses. This trip will give our team an opportunity to improve our chances at an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship meet at the end of November. We need to compete against teams outside of our region--teams we wouldn't typically face at a competition—and our current budget doesn’t accommodate travel of this distance or duration.
This season, we are planning to race at The Border Battle, hosted by Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. This trip will give our athletes and team a chance to show if they are competitive enough to have a shot at making the national meet at the end of the season, as well as to travel and experience a new place, bond with their teammates, and share in memories together.
