The Cavalier Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is a student-run organization at the University of Virginia dedicated to providing a platform for students to continue their pursuit of music after their high school career. This mission includes students at UVA and in the local community. As a part of our initiative, we have created the CSO Scholarship Fund to support the music program at Albemarle High School. One of the biggest barriers to young musicians is the inability to afford quality instruments, private lessons, and well-resourced music programs. We hope to reduce these barriers through our Scholarship Fund by providing Albemarle High School with the necessary financial resources to empower and support its students.
