This year represents the 200th anniversary of the first University librarian. UVA was built with a library—the Rotunda—at its heart, and the UVA Library has served as the center of the University’s pursuit of knowledge ever since.
National Library Week is an opportunity to celebrate the important role the UVA Library plays both on Grounds and in the wider community.
