The scholarship honors Beverly Belisle (known to most as Beverly Colston), who has served as the Director of UVM's Mosaic Center for Students of Color for over 20 years.
She's recognized as one of the most dynamic and beloved campus leaders. One who has worked to uproot racism and successfully build a thriving, nourishing, and safe campus community for students of color.
The goal of the scholarship is to embody Bev’s passion for students by providing important financial support, so that students may attend UVM and develop their talent in our learning community. All the while, creating a more equitable, welcoming, and diverse community.
Please support this effort to make UVM a campus community where every student belongs and realizes their full potential.
With your help, we can reach our goal of raising $100,000.
The six founding alumni donors have started the scholarship by committing $50,000. Please join them in honoring Bev and committing to creating more opportunities for students.
