UVM Ultimate Frisbee draws interest from over 200 students each year. With three teams each, our men’s program (Chill) and women’s program (Ruckus) give students a tight-knit community and a chance to compete at a national level. By practicing, lifting, watching film, doing field workouts, and encouraging our teammates, we set ourselves up for success. This fall at Lobster Pot, the largest annual collegiate Ultimate competition, both Ruckus and Chill’s A-Teams placed first out of all 84 different teams in the competition. Last year at nationals, Ruckus tied for 5th place and Chill tied for 9th. Both Ruckus and Chill are striving to WIN the national championship this spring.
But, we can’t do it without your continued support! With the hard work, determination, and support of our alumni and donors, the program has grown over the years and allowed us to set this incredible goal.
Your donation will go toward purchasing hotel rooms, off-campus field space, van rentals, bid fees, and flights for tournaments amongst our six teams. It will also help us support players who need financial assistance with annual dues. Please consider donating to the UVM Ultimate program. We are so excited to represent the UVM community as we prepare to dominate the fields.
This year, Chill and Ruckus are joining forces to fundraise so all gifts will be split evenly between the two teams. UVM ultimate is a nonprofit organization, which means you are eligible for tax breaks!
