Chicks on Sticks Power Through Powder 2026

For eight weeks, 96 members of Chicks on Sticks will be waking up at 4 am to complete 4 dawn patrols.

What’s a dawn patrol? It's when rad skiers and riders wake up before the sun, climb up a mountain, and ski down before the day has even begun.

Each athlete is working to raise $210 for this fundraiser from amazing donors like you! Usually, it’s $200, but this year is the 10th anniversary of PTP, and we are asking an additional $10 to celebrate.

Your gift supports Chicks on Sticks’ mission of increasing inclusivity in the outdoors, specifically in snowsports. Through on-campus programming, we create opportunities for female-identifying and gender non-conforming skiers and riders to get outside together.

AND we split what we raise with a local organization with an aligned mission and vision. In the past, we’ve supported organizations like Planned Parenthood, Protect Our Winters, Black Girls Trekkin', Vermont Adaptive, HopeWorksVT, and Vermont Works for Women. This year, our members have chosen to partner with Mercy Connections and their Justice, Mentoring, and Reentry program to help provide powerful support for individuals who are justice-involved, in transition from prison, treatment court, addiction, and/or mental health crises.
