Seven decades is a long time. We need your help to stay on the air for 70 more years!
We hope youβll make a gift to the WRUV Fund today to help keep this funky fresh station running for years to come.
Since 1955, we have moved three times, from the Barn, to Billings Student Center, to our current home in the Dudley H. Davis Center. WRUV now hosts the largest music library in Vermont, a recording studio, on-air booth, office, some great couches, and your favorite unique music.
The studio may have changed over the years, and the music our DJs spin has, too. But our incredible community of listeners, alumni, and donors have supported us the whole time.
Your gift ensures that we can continue to maintain our studio and collection this year, continue building a better infrastructure for the future, and allows us to send our executive board to conferences.
Conferences give us the chance to learn from our peers at other college radio stations, but they also give us a chance to show off! We know our (bi-weekly) live-band program Exposure is an award-worthy show, and we want to share it with the world and put our name on the map. Support from donors gives us the chance to highlight the awesome job our current DJs are doing, and demonstrate our importance to the UVM and Burlington communities.
Please consider making a gift today, so we can carry on our stationβs remarkable legacy. Your support keeps the better alternative alive and evolving.
P.S. If you're in town on September 26th, be sure to stop by our 70th birthday bash! Learn more here
