This year, we're highlighting two important areas of support for UVM Women's Basketball, including an exciting opportunity to unlock additional funding for our program!
🏀 Women's Basketball Recruitment & Retention Fund
In the changing landscape of college athletics, having dedicated resources for recruitment and retention is critical to attracting and keeping top talent.
If we raise $30,000 for the Women's Basketball Recruitment & Retention Fund during Catamount Challenge, a generous supporter has pledged an additional $30,000!
To help us reach that goal, another donor has offered to match the first $15,000 in gifts to the fund, dollar for dollar.
Together, these opportunities could generate $60,000 for our recruitment and retention efforts!
🏀 Women's Basketball Excellence Fund
The Excellence Fund provides essential support for our student-athletes, from travel and equipment to other day-to-day program needs.
No matter which fund you choose, your generosity helps UVM Women's Basketball build on its success and gives our student-athletes the resources they need to compete at the highest level.
🏆 Help Us Win Additional Funding!
Your gift also helps Women's Basketball compete against UVM's other varsity teams for up to $5,000 in additional funding!
Teams and programs can win:
- $2,500 for most overall donors
- $1,500 for most dollars raised
- $1,000 for most alumni donors
Any gift of $5 or more counts toward the competition!
There are just two simple rules:
- One gift per person, per team counts toward the donor competitions, but you can support as many teams as you'd like!
- Don't make gifts on behalf of others. Instead, become an advocate and spread the word!
Every gift directly supports UVM Women's Basketball and helps our student-athletes succeed, both on the court and in the classroom.
