This year, we're highlighting five important areas of support for UVM Men's Soccer, including exciting opportunities to unlock additional funding for our program!

⚽ Men's Soccer Recruitment & Retention Fund

In the changing landscape of college athletics, having dedicated resources for recruitment and retention is critical to attracting and keeping top talent. This fund helps UVM Men's Soccer remain competitive and build on our program's success for years to come.

If we raise $30,000 for the Men's Soccer Recruitment & Retention Fund during Catamount Challenge, a generous supporter has pledged an additional $30,000!

To help us reach that goal, another donor has offered to match the first $15,000 in gifts to the fund, dollar for dollar.

Together, these opportunities could generate $60,000 for our recruitment and retention efforts!

⚽ Men's Soccer Excellence Fund

The Excellence Fund provides essential support for our student-athletes, from travel and equipment to training and other day-to-day program needs. Your contribution gives our coaches the flexibility to address emerging priorities throughout the season and offseason.

⚽ Men's Soccer Nutrition & Performance Fund

Established in 2026, this fund is dedicated to ensuring our student-athletes have access to the nutrition resources they need to train, compete, and recover at their best. Our goal is to raise $20,000 annually to support the team's nutrition and performance needs, including meals, snacks, beverages, and other nutritional resources.

To help us reach that goal, the fund's founding donor has offered to match the first $10,000 in gifts, dollar for dollar!

⚽ Timmy Chant '89 Memorial Fund

Established in memory of Timmy Chant '89 through the leadership of his friend and teammate Scott "Woody" Wood '86, this fund honors Timmy's lasting impact on UVM Men's Soccer while providing flexible support for today's student-athletes.

Your gift celebrates Timmy's legacy and helps ensure that his connection to the program continues to make a difference for future generations of Catamounts.

We're excited to share that, thanks to the generosity of Timmy's teammates, friends, and family, we've fulfilled the entire $50,000 match and raised more than $100,000 for the fund as of October 22!

⚽ Ron McEachen Family Fund

This permanent endowment honors former UVM Men's Soccer Head Coach Ron McEachen and the lasting impact he had on the program and its alumni. As the fund grows, it will provide a reliable, ongoing source of support for future generations of UVM Men's Soccer student-athletes.

Your gift also helps Men's Soccer compete against UVM's other varsity teams for up to $5,000 in additional funding!

Teams and programs can win:

• $2,500 for most overall donors
• $1,500 for most dollars raised
• $1,000 for most alumni donors

Any gift of $5 or more counts toward the competition!

There are just two simple rules:

1. One gift per person, per team counts toward the donor competitions, but you can support as many teams as you'd like!
2. Don't make gifts on behalf of others. Instead, become an advocate and spread the word!

No matter which fund you choose, your generosity directly supports UVM Men's Soccer and helps our student-athletes succeed, both on the field and in the classroom.
