About

At the University of Utah, we are committed to empowering students with the wellness tools they need to succeed – both during their time on campus and in their future careers. Student well-being is foundational for academic and personal success, so as a part of Welcome U, we’re raising funds to ensure the ongoing programming and progress of the Center to Campus Wellness.

This multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive wellness and safety programs and services to the campus community including:

  • Wellness education, training, and workshops for financial education, burnout prevention, bystander intervention, Naloxone training, and more
  • Individual financial counseling and mentorship programs to build life-long skills
  • Professional advocacy and support services for campus community members who have experienced violence, abuse, or harm
  • Free HIV/STI testing clinics and safer sex services
  • Peer-led wellbeing resource navigation to strengthen students’ confidence and health literacy for campus resources
  • Multiple leadership opportunities for students aspiring to careers in health & wellness
  • Collegiate recovery support and harm reduction programs for students healing from alcohol & substance use
  • Personal health and wellness coaching where students overcome obstacles and find motivating support to achieve wellness goals like healthy eating, maintaining a budget, or practicing mindfulness

Through this programming, the Center for Campus Wellness fosters the development of practical skills that helps students succeed academically and personally. It nurtures a holistic understanding of health and wellness for students, staff, and faculty alike.
