Being a student is a special time in life. It is a time of growth, exploration, and learning as dreams are achieved and futures unfold. However, unexpected circumstances can quickly derail dreams, leaving students overwhelmed and unable to proceed. That's where our Student Emergency Fund comes in. It serves as a lifeline for students in times of crisis, offering immediate assistance when they need it most. Whether it's helping cover the cost of textbooks, keeping the lights on during a tough month, or providing support when employment is unstable, the Student Emergency Fund ensures that financial worries don't stand in the way of academic success.
Funds commonly go towards:
- Food insecurity
- Emergency medical and dental costs
- Emergency and temporary housing costs as well as basic living expenses
- Family emergencies
The Emergency Student Support Fund is a safety net that is there to support our students when they become impacted by adversity beyond their control. We need your help to make this net as strong as possible for our students.
Each applicant's case is individually reviewed and evaluated within the context of other federal, state, and institutional aid the student may have received.
