Native students in our communities face significant financial, educational, and social barriers. Rising tuition costs, as well as other expenses associated with college attendance, fundamentally impact their ability to pursue and complete their education.
Join the U and other generous donors in supporting indigenous students by supporting the Native Student Scholarship, which provides four-year full tuition and fees scholarships, after all other scholarships and grants, to eligible students who are members of one of Utah's 8 federally recognized tribes.
Your gift will help remove significant financial barriers as they pursue their University of Utah degree. To learn more about the impact of this scholarship, please read a quote below from one of our Native Student Scholarship recipients.
"I am truly appreciative of the generosity of the donors who made this scholarship possible. Receiving this scholarship motivates me to continue working hard and reminds me that others believe in my potential. After college, I plan to pursue a career in healthcare. Ultimately, my goal is to give back to my native community by improving access to medical care in underserved areas. Your support has made a meaningful difference in my educational journey, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity it has given me." - Current Native Student Scholarship Recipient
