Student Media's independent student-run platforms have engaged, provoked, inspired, and connected the University of Utah community since 1890.

Our mission is to serve as the campus storytellers. Our platforms provide an experiential learning laboratory for students passionate about journalism, entertainment, design, advertising, marketing, and more.

Your donation directly funds scholarships for University of Utah student journalists and creators. These scholarships support our students as they gain real-world experience, prepare for their post-graduation careers, and share the stories that matter to the University of Utah community.

The Daily Utah Chronicle: The Daily Utah Chronicle represents the student voice on campus. Since 1890. K-UTE Radio: K-UTE Radio is the official student-run online radio station at The University of Utah since 1988. Streaming 24/7, K-UTE is a hub for the growing local music scene in Salt Lake City, sharing podcasts, video, photography, writing and more. https://kuteradio.org/

Geekwave: Embracing one’s “geekiness” isn’t merely discussing your favorite show. It’s opening yourself up to new stories, ideas, and communities.
