Colleges & Departments

For 175 years, the University of Utah has been a pillar of innovation, education, and discovery, driven by the extraordinary contributions of its colleges and departments. Each plays a vital role in shaping the future—whether through groundbreaking research, fostering the arts, or preparing the next generation of leaders. These academic units are the heart of the U’s mission, serving as hubs where students thrive, faculty inspire, and communities benefit. By supporting colleges and departments on Giving Day, you help ensure that their legacy of growth, excellence, and impact continues for generations to come. Together, we can honor 175 years of achievement and fuel the university’s bright future.
