College of Nursing

This campaign ended on October 17, 2018, but you can still make a gift to University of Toledo by clicking here!

The UT College of Nursing is all about educating the nurses and healthcare leaders of tomorrow while improving the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities. Through our research, education and service activities, we are making a difference in the State of Ohio as well as the nation and the world. You can help!

We strive to support high quality, innovative programs, continued faculty development, state-of-the art classrooms and labs, and friendly, inviting student study spaces. Gifts to the Nursing Progress Fund help us achieve these and many other goals. We have a long tradition of educating nurses who are strong, capable problem-solvers, critical thinkers and clinicians.  Scholarship funds enable many of our students to fulfill their dream of becoming a nurse or achieving a graduate degree.

Our faculty and graduate students focus their scholarship and practice on tough, real-world challenges, such as: the opioid epidemic, lead poisoning in children, obesity, pain management, caregiving and exercise physiology just to name a few areas. Your gift to the Nursing Research or Buchman funds will help to support faculty and students engaged in research, evidence-based practice and other scholarly projects. We have a wonderful tradition of interprofessional medical mission trips and study abroad opportunities. This past year, several of our students went to Taiwan to learn about its healthcare system and culture in what several students described as a “life-changing experience.” Gifts to our Global Studies -Nursing Fund will help support these and other important global initiatives.

Your continued support is vital to the growth and success of the UT College of Nursing. Join us as we work to fulfill our mission to “improve the human condition in the region and the world.”
