Your support can change the course of a student’s journey.
Funds raised on Giving Day will directly support UT San Antonio students with a history of foster care by helping us provide the essential resources they rely on every day. This year, your gift will help us keep our Fostering Futures pantry fully stocked, a place students visit regularly for snacks, meals, academic supplies, and necessities that remove barriers to learning and well-being.
Your generosity will also help us provide access to books, ensuring students have access to the required materials they need to be successful in the classroom. For many, the cost of textbooks can be a major barrier that impacts academic progress. Your support helps ensure they never have to choose between a textbook and another basic need.
Additionally, your gift will support the purchase of graduation regalia celebratory packs for our graduating seniors. For students in our program, commencement represents far more than a ceremony it is a moment of pride, resilience, and accomplishment. Your contribution ensures they can fully celebrate this milestone and participate alongside their peers.
By giving to the Fostering Futures Program, you are investing in students’ stability, confidence, and long-term success in higher education and beyond.
Alumni David ’89 and Rachelle ’90, ’01 Roth will unlock $5,000 in support of the Fostering Futures Program when we reach 50 donors!
