We did it! 🎉🌉

Thanks to 46 amazing donors, the BRIDGES HornRaiser raised $45,908, reaching 229% of our goal! Every dollar will support our Community Fellows, fuel our research and student opportunities, strengthen local partnerships, and help build a more resilient Austin.

100% of the funds raised will go to the program. Specifically, your contribution will:

• Fund our Community Fellows and partner organizations
• Cover research materials and supplies, and student research opportunities
• Support our monthly Community of Practice (CoP) meetings

These are the pieces that keep the program running and the partnerships active. BRIDGES is still a relatively young program, and this level of support lets us build on a strong foundation rather than simply sustain it.

We're in the final stretch of our HornRaiser campaign, and we are so grateful for everyone who has stepped up for The BRIDGES Program. Thank you to our donors, and to everyone who has shared our page, spread the word and supported participatory research in Central Texas.

As of September 21, 2026, we've raised $5,605 from 22 generous donors, which puts us at 28% of our $20,000 goal. Every one of those gifts is a vote of confidence in participatory research that connects UT researchers with impacted communities and strengthens environmental resilience initiatives. The amount raised already supports research materials, provides students with hands on opportunities and enables us to continue building our relationships with communities.

The BRIDGES Program is a relatively new program, so this support means a great deal. You're helping us lay the foundation for hands-on opportunities for students and researchers and for community-driven resilience work across Texas. We're excited to see how BRIDGES grows with you behind us. 

We have about $14,400 left to raise and 8 days to do it. Our campaign ends Tuesday, September 29 at 9:00 a.m. CT, so let's make this week count. If you haven't yet, here's how you can help:
