SHIFT is transforming the culture around substance use and misuse by building a campus where students feel connected and empowered to make mindful decisions that support their well-being. Through environmental strategies grounded in public health, harm reduction, and strengths-based frameworks, SHIFT partners across the Forty Acres and beyond to foster a culture where student well-being is at the center of the college experience.
Your support of the SHIFT Event Fund directly helps student organizations—especially those with limited financial resources—host memorable social events with SHIFT Makers. The SHIFT Makers, a team of passionate UT students, bring people together through meaningful conversations and beautifully crafted zero-proof cocktails at campus events. By challenging the social norms that tie alcohol to belonging, SHIFT Makers create a unique, welcoming social experience without the pressure or expectation to drink alcohol.
