The Zheng Lab on Measurement and Mental Health is raising funds to launch a camp for neurodiverse teen girls!
Adolescence can be a vulnerable time for mental health, and research shows that neurodiverse teen girls are at even greater risk for anxiety, depression, and social isolation. Challenges with friendships and emotional regulation can increase that risk. These areas—social connection and emotional skills—are known as “protective factors” because they help safeguard mental health.
Our camp is designed to strengthen those protective factors in a way that is fun, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Led by experienced clinicians, the program will help girls build social confidence, better understand their emotions, and connect with peers who share similar interests and ways of thinking.
We hope to offer this camp at no cost to families, ensuring that financial barriers do not limit access to care and connection.
Your donation helps make this possible. With your support, we can create a space where neurodiverse teen girls feel understood, empowered, and connected.
