The Texas Technology Access Program (TTAP) is the state's assistive technology program per the 21st Century Assistive Technology Act. Our mission is to increase access to assistive technology (AT) tools and services for people who are aging or have disabilities. Texans may have more control over their environments and function more independently with AT. This could provide access to education, employment, recreation, and community engagement.
One way TTAP increases access to AT is through our demonstration centers located throughout the state. There, one can learn about AT with a hands-on demonstration and one-on-one communication with demo center personnel.
