Founded in 1986 by DeLoss Dodds, the Longhorn Foundation is the official fundraising arm of Texas Athletics. Through the generosity of Longhorn Foundation members, Texas Athletics annually supports the educational and competitive pursuits of more than 500 student-athletes. Our mission is to prepare students to win with integrity—in academics, in athletics, and life. Investing in the Longhorn Foundation instills integrity, passion, and knowledge for Texas student-athletes to thrive.

Through the support of Longhorn Nation, we can best position ourselves for sustained excellence now and into the future. Longhorn Excellence, a designation of the Longhorn Foundation's Annual fund, is designed to provide a competitive edge for Texas student-athletes on and off the field. Gifts to Longhorn Excellence help raise the bar by enhancing proper nutrition, travel, education, recruiting, facilities maintenance, sports medicine, and overall student-athlete development. By supporting Longhorn Excellence, you are allowing Texas Athletics to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of college athletics.

Gifts to Longhorn Excellence have a tremendous impact on the lives of Texas student-athletes by supporting their wellbeing on and off the field or court. In addition to making a difference in the lives of Texas student-athletes, Longhorn Excellence gifts earn 5 Loyalty Points per every $100 and are 100% tax deductible. The accelerated rate at which gifts to Longhorn Excellence earn Loyalty Points is highly beneficial for improving your overall Loyalty Point ranking within the Longhorn Foundation. Your support helps fuel the daily lives of student-athletes, from top-tier training and nutrition to travel, facilities, academics, and overall wellbeing.
