Your contribution to the Baker School Fund enriches the academic journey of our students by providing valuable opportunities and essential resources. From scholarships that make education accessible to building updates that create a dynamic learning environment, your support fuels the Baker School’s tradition of excellence and innovation in public policy education. As a flexible resource used at the Dean’s discretion, the fund supports initiatives that enhance the student experience, including scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, and participation in policy initiatives. Together, we are shaping the future of public service by equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to lead and serve with purpose.

The Howard H. Baker Jr. School of Public Policy and Public Affairs is experiencing an exciting time, with over 70 students enrolled in our graduate programs and more than 70 students in the inaugural class of our undergraduate Public Affairs major. This fall marks a period of tremendous growth as we continue our mission to cultivate informed, engaged citizens and future leaders. Our campus is alive with dynamic events, including policy forums, expert speaker series, and new student initiatives through the Baker School Student Association. Students also have expanded opportunities for experiential learning, internships, and public service projects. As we focus on shaping the future of public service, the Baker School remains a hub for innovation, leadership development, and impactful research, creating an inspiring environment for all involved.
Another impactful way to support our students is by contributing to the Baker School Student Organization Fund, which supports the Baker School Student Association (BSSA)—a student-led organization dedicated to the values of civility, integrity, and public service. Contributions to this fund provide essential resources for professional development, leadership training, and networking opportunities. These experiences empower students with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in public service and make meaningful contributions to their communities, ensuring they are well-prepared to lead with purpose and integrity.
