About

University of St. Thomas Men's and Women's Track and Field team is ready to "Raise the Bar" for their 2024 season! Raise the Bar means they continue to set new standards within the program and strive to set a national presence of who they are as UST Track and Field. Join us as we reach for new heights!

Last year, both teams finished 4th at the conference championship, the best in program history since joining the NCAA in 2019. Throughout the last couple seasons, we gained a total of 31 All Conference accolades that included Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Champions in 4 different events. We have athletes who were ranked top 50 in the nation in their respective events, some who narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Division 3 Outdoor Track and Field Championship.

Adding to the list of accomplishments, several of the athletes, have been recognized for their talents:

  • As a Freshman, Ebonee Nation won Freshman & Track Athlete of the Year. Only the 2nd athlete in conference history to win both awards (2023)
  • Seven athletes were nominated for All West Regions honors in the 200m, 400m, High Jump, and 4x400m (2022 & 2023)
  • Bryce McIntyre currently holds the 4th fastest time in conference history in the 200m with a 21.56, he is 2 tenths away from the conference record (2023)
  • Matthew Hicks finished his season ranked 32nd in the nation in the High Jump, our highest ranked athlete in any event (2023)

The Celts have seen a lot of excitement and have built the foundation for an even better 2024 season. And you can help play a part in their success! Through your support, we can continue advancing with access to new equipment, entry into national meets, and an overall improved student-athlete experience. Our goal is to become a nationally recognized program and your generosity can assist us in making that dream a reality.
