About

The Rising Stars Internship Program aims to raise at least $4,000.00 on Giving Day so we can continue making a positive impact on the lives of our students. These funds play an important role in contributing to our students' professional development training, providing enhanced wrap-around services, and an overall improved student experience. With your support, we can provide crucial financial support and meaningful internship opportunities to first-generation students who would otherwise not be able to attend UST.

When you invest in our students, you support the development of a diverse workforce and provide career, technical, and networking training for the next generation.

About the Rising Stars Internship Program:

Rising Stars makes the dream of attending college a reality. It also introduces these students, who have limited exposure to Corporate America, to new professional experiences, a broader network, and life-long mentors. UST is a haven for these future professionals who aspire to work towards changing their lives without crippling student loan debt. With Rising Stars, UST is creating more employable graduates in an increasingly competitive job market.

The program launched in 2019, with just five students and four corporate partners. Thanks to impressive student and corporate recruitment efforts and a high retention rate, Rising Stars began the 2023-2024 academic year with an astounding 241 enrolled students earning their way toward a college degree and a reimagined future.
