Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is dedicated to expanding the image of engineering and empowering students to grow as future leaders in the field. We are raising funds to support our chapter's participation in the annual Society of Women Engineers Conference, beginning with WE26 in Boston, MA. This conference provides students with valuable opportunities to connect with industry professionals and explore career opportunities that will support their futures in engineering.

Our university provides funding for board members' flights and lodging. However, additional expenses such as local transportation and meals remain.

Our immediate goal is to help cover these costs for board members attending WE26. This year, we received strong interest from chapter members hoping to attend the conference, but limited funding restricted attendance to board members. Looking ahead, we hope to use the remaining funds to expand next year's conference attendance beyond our board.

Your support will allow more chapter members to participate while helping cover expenses. Your generous gift will help reduce financial barriers and allow more students to experience the professional development, networking and career opportunities offered through SWE's annual conference.
