Pre-Health Program

Support the Called to Care Award. Preparing for a career in healthcare is about more than earning strong grades and gaining admission to a professional program. It is also about becoming the kind of person others can trust with their health, their families, and their most vulnerable moments. The Pre-Health Program’s Called to Care Award recognizes graduating St. Thomas students who have distinguished themselves not only through their accomplishments, but through the ways they have cared for and contributed to others throughout their undergraduate experience. Recipients exemplify compassion, service, leadership, community engagement, support of their peers, and a commitment to the common good. Your Tommie Give Day gift will allow us to provide a monetary award to Called to Care recipients as they graduate from St. Thomas and take their next steps toward careers in healthcare. In doing so, we can celebrate and invest in students who embody the values we hope they will carry with them into the healthcare professions.
