This year, the English department is especially asking for your support of our Diverse Voices Series, a creative writing lecture series. Over the past years, this series has brought to campus and featured prize-winning authors such as Camille Dungy, Edwidge Danticat, Viet Thanh Nguyen, and Kiese Laymon. Their evening talks regularly attract hundreds of attendees from across campus and the larger community; and their smaller noontime talks are focused on craft issues and literary questions that our majors are most interested in. All in all, the series is the perfect combination of a campus-wide event and a smaller event focused on our majors and minors.

With your gift, the Diverse Voices Series will continue to enrich the lives of our students for many years to come.
