Catholic Studies

Catholic Studies is an interdisciplinary program that explores the relationship of faith AND reason in the humanities, sciences, social sciences, and the professions.

Our undergraduate students combine this integrated exploration with their professional and personal callings, helping students find their purpose. A Catholic Studies major or minor is designed to pair with more than 150 fields of study at the University of St. Thomas. At the graduate level, our students engage in a transformative opportunity to enrich their life, work, and sense of purpose in our courses that deeply examine the Catholic understanding of human thought and culture. A rich community life at both levels elevates a student's academic experience and offers a variety of opportunities for leadership and spiritual formation.
