Women's Club Rugby

The St. Thomas Women’s Rugby Club was created to allow students to learn, compete and find community through rugby, regardless of their previous experience with the sport. As a new and growing club, our mission is to build a program that is welcoming, accessible and sustainable, while creating a team culture centered around leadership, community and “Owning Our Impact” both on and off the field.

As a newly established club, we are seeking funds to build the foundation our team needs to continue growing and competing. Your gift will help cover rugby equipment, uniforms, referee and match fees, tournament fees, travel and transportation expenses, and other costs associated with running the club.

We also want to make rugby as accessible as possible for students who want to play. Part of our goal is to reduce the financial barriers that can prevent someone from joining, especially when it comes to necessities such as cleats, mouthguards, equipment, and travel costs.

Every gift helps us move toward building a program that future St. Thomas students can continue to be part of for years to come. Thank you for your generosity!

A Note from Francine, Women's Rugby Club Member

"Joining Women's Club Rugby has given me a community and a newfound confidence. It also has taught me how to work in a team, which also translates on and off the field. Your gift helps provide equipment and resources that will support the growth of our club and create more opportunities for women in rugby. Thank you!"
