Ballroom Dance Club's mission is to create an awareness of ballroom dancing and culture. Our goal is to bring students and the St. Thomas community together to share their love of dancing, to learn how to ballroom dance and to acquire interpersonal skills. We are raising money for weekly ballroom dance lessons with a professional instructor for the 2025-2026 academic year.

"I first joined the ballroom dance club as a freshman at St. Thomas. The welcoming atmosphere, encouraging instructor and the fun of spinning and stepping (even if it was first on my partner's toes!) kept me engaged and excited as I tried something completely new. Through the weekly lessons, I slowly gained confidence and skill, leading me to explore wonderful opportunities such as the St. Thomas dancing showcase, UW Eau Claire Viennese Ball and USA Dance's annual Tea Dance. I am truly grateful that through Ballroom Dance Club, I was able to step outside of my comfort zone and discover traditional dance!"
