Purple Reign Ultimate Frisbee aims to provide an athletic outlet for students at St. Thomas in competitions around the country. We are raising funds for travel, coach stipends, equipment and game film equipment.

"Being part of the ultimate frisbee team at the University of St. Thomas has helped shape some of the most meaningful experiences of my college career. Many of my favorite collegiate memories come from this sport, as I reflect on the after-school practices, road trips to tournaments, sideline chants, and post-game celebrations. However, the main factor that keeps me returning to frisbee is the friendships I’ve made on the team, as they are the kind that last well beyond the field.
Ultimate has taught me the value of teamwork, leadership and communication. It is a reasonably different sport, as players are required to call their fouls. This forces each individual to admit when they have done something wrong, as well as communicate effectively to resolve an issue. These skills are not often required in other sports, which is what I believe sets ultimate frisbee apart.
Like many club sports, ultimate frisbee relies heavily on fundraising to make our season possible. Tournament fees, travel and equipment add up quickly. Your support directly fuels our ability to compete, grow and represent the University of St. Thomas with pride.
