Gifts to Scene Setters contribute to...
Launched by the College of Arts and Sciences in 2024, Scene Setters is an interdisciplinary initiative for theater and storytelling. Our motto is “Show up. Set the scene. See what happens.” In spring 2024, a group of students did just that: they showed up, set the scene for, directed, and performed in The Crucible, reigniting live theater on campus.
Your Tommie Give Day 2025 gift will go directly to supporting the students in their creation of the spring 2026 play. Through your generosity, students will gain hands-on experience in performing, stage managing, designing, and directing, while building community and sharing the collective effervescence of live theater.
