The Department of Emerging Media prepares students to thrive in our rapidly changing media environment. Every day students learn from instructors who are well-versed in the latest industry trends, ethical considerations and techniques in our three majors of digital media arts, journalism and strategic communication. During their time on campus, students also have experience-building opportunities in organizations such as The Crest student media or the Public Relations Student Society of America. Alumni go on to work in media in all forms, including video and audio production, media and web design, game and interactive design, journalism, and advertising and public relations. Your gift to help us update our production technology – such as cameras, lighting kits and accessories – supports our students’ mission to make media that makes a difference.
